Energy is one of the cornerstones of modern society. Whether it be providing heat and light to homes, energy for industry and transport, or the charging of smartphones, how energy is generated and delivered is key.
Energy technologies evolve in a way that will influence how future society operates, for example the development of electric transport and batteries, through to delivering the energy needed to charge them.
The University of Liverpool has long-established multidisciplinary research teams advancing knowledge and delivering applications through partnerships across multiple topics in the energy research field. Examples of areas of expertise include generation and delivery technologies, enhancing energy efficiency and reducing waste, and how environmental changes induced by climate change impact on energy generation.
This event will showcase the application of our Energy research, key facilities/expertise available at the University of Liverpool - whilst stimulating engagement and debate on potential future collaboration opportunities.
