Pre-show Talk: A Raisin in the Sun

Bella Adams is a lecturer in English and is currently teaching two modules in American literature. She lectures on a year-long, level 4 module American Classics that includes writing from Twain, Fitzgerald, Nabokov, O'Hara, Morrison and Roth. She is also leading a level 6 module, Race in America, which mainly focuses on contemporary black American novels, poetry, film and theory. In the past, Bella has taught on a wide range of modules in English and American literature, from survey modules to more specialized modules in nineteenth century American writing, modernism, postmodernism, critical theory and contemporary poetry.
