The inquests into the deaths of 96 Liverpool football fans at Hillsborough on 15 April 1989 are now moving towards a conclusion. The inquests came on the back of the Hillsborough Independent Panel Report which uncovered the truth about what happened on the day.

Sheila Coleman will talk about the campaign for justice and will focus on a number of issues: how the narrative of events is dictated and controlled, the role of the media and the establishment, questions of collusion, cover-ups and corruption, the impact on the bereaved, the issue of survivors as forgotten victims, the impact of high profile campaigns and learning lessons from the Hillsborough campaign.
