As the debate on EU membership heats up, the Heseltine Institute is delighted to be hosting a lively discussion in conjunction with Professional Liverpool.
You’re invited to the historic Leggate Theatre at the Victoria Gallery and Museum to hear both sides of the debate which will be chaired by multi award-winning broadcaster and producer Rob McLoughlin.
Proposing the motion to stay is Professor Janet Beer, Vice Chancellor of the University of Liverpool. Professor Beer is also a member of the national ‘in’ campaign board: Britain Stronger in Europe. Well known throughout the higher education sector and through national leadership roles, Professor Beer chairs the Liverpool Knowledge Quarter Mayoral Development Zone Board and is a member of numerous others including the Liverpool Mayoral Development Corporation Board and the Liverpool City Region Innovation Board.
