Artist duo Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni will present their work at FACT as part of Liverpool Biennial 2016 (9 July – 16 October). Join them, Liverpool Biennial’s curatorial faculty and invited artists Koenraad Deddobbeleer, Samson Kambalu, Jumana Manna and Elena Narbutaite, for a conversation about their work and their first thoughts on the City.
Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni live and work in Paris, France. Their work reflects on cinema history, science and technological evolution. Their recent series The Unmanned traces the history of technology from a non-human perspective and was presented in shows in Casino Luxembourg; Vox, Montreal; Centre International d'Art et du Paysage de l'Ile de Vassiviere, Beaumont-du-Lac (2014-2015). Other shows include Palais de Tokyo (2008), Santa Fe Biennial (2008), Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris (2009), and Moscow Biennial (2009).
